Styled in a white blonde finish, The Ibanez FRM200 is a signature series electric guitar from Paul Gilbert. It sports an okoume body and a three-piece, set-in maple/okoume neck. This neck measures 24.7" in scale, and offers a bound ebony fingerboard with 22 narrow and tall frets. White dot inlays adorn the frets. Strings are anchored to the body by means of a Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece, boasting tune-o-matic-style saddles for intonating your strings.
For electronics, this guitar is outfitted with DiMarzio PG-13 mini-humbuckers designed specifically for Paul. With its smaller sound, the pickup lies somewhere between a single-coil and a humbucker. These pickups provide a clear response that still bring a hefty tone. A volume knob, a tone knob, and a three-way pickup selector are on hand to provide full control over your timbre. In accordance with Paul's wishes, the volume knob is closer to the output jack, while the tone knob sits just below the pickup selector.
