Styled in a white finish, the Ibanez GIO Series GRG7221 is a seven-string electric guitar with a double-cutaway poplar body. Its maple GRG7 neck, outfitted with a 25.5" scale, sports a treated New Zealand pine fingerboard with white dot inlays, as well as 24 jumbo frets.
For electronics, the guitar is outfitted with two Ibanez Infinity R humbucking pickups—one in the neck and one in the bridge. A volume knob and a tone knob are on hand to help you shape your sound, as is a 5-way pickup selector that can choose among humbucker and split-coil sounds.
Treated New Zealand Pine Fingerboard
Treated New Zealand pine has gone through a seasoning process that yields a harder, more durable piece of wood. As a result, it offers enhanced stability while producing a rich warm tone.
