Styled in a sapphire blue flat finish, the Ibanez RG Standard Series RG7421PB is a seven-string electric guitar with a meranti body and a poplar burl top. It's fitted with a Wizard II-7 three-piece bolt-on maple neck which has a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard and white dot inlay. The solid double-cutaway body delivers resonance and sustain, while the Wizard II-7 neck is thin, flat, and fast, yet strong.
The RG7421PB is equipped with a pair of Quantum humbucking neck and bridge pickups, which offer an accelerated bass response for fast tracking and precise articulation. A 5-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose between a variety of humbucking, split-coil, and parallel-coil tones. These can be further adjusted using the guitar's master volume and tone controls. Additionally, the RG7421PB is fitted with black hardware, including a standard fixed bridge.
