Styled in an antique violin finish, the Prestige Series AR2619 is a solid-body electric guitar with a double cutaway design. It sports a set-in, three-piece maple neck with a smooth heel designed to enhance the feel and playability of the instrument.
This neck, measuring 24.7" in scale, offers a bound ebony fingerboard with 22 medium frets and acrylic/abalone block inlays.
The body is fashioned out of African mahogany and has a flamed maple top. This combination ensures a rich low end, crisp trebles, and a tight midrange.
For electronics, the AR2619 boasts two Super 80 Flying Finger humbucking pickups, complete with a signature engraving. Both pickups can be split into parallel or coil-tapped configurations by means of independent Tri-Sound switches. Otherwise, you're offered two volume knobs and two tone knobs—one for each pickup—and a three-way pickup selector for accessing the instrument's various timbres.
Gold hardware is employed throughout, and strings are anchored to the body by means of a Gibraltar bridge with sustain block, as well a Quick Change Classic tailpiece. A hardshell case is included.
