The pink Sony WI-SP500 are wireless in-ear sports headphones designed to deliver extended listening time and lifestyle convenience for athletes, music lovers, and audio aficionados exercising, traveling, or studying inside or outdoors. The behind-the-neck design won't interfere with comfort or ease of use and IPX4 waterproof rating means that perspiration and precipitation are of no concern. Bluetooth version 4.2 and NFC technology grant simple and effective wireless integration with your mobile device.

The 13.5mm dynamic drivers utilize neodymium magnets and produce a wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. A built-in rechargeable battery affords up to eight hours of listening time or up to 200 hours of standby time via a full charge. Thanks to the earpiece's integrated microphone and buttons, you can take calls and control playback without accessing your smartphone. The WI-SP500 headphones include multiple eartips, a micro-USB charging cable, and a carrying holder.

Bluetooth and NFC

Stream effortlessly with Bluetooth and NFC one-touch listening. Near-Field Communication (NFC) technology makes complex set-up sequences a thing of the past. Simply touch selected NFC-enabled devices to the on-body N-mark for a quick, seamless connection, then start streaming content via Bluetooth. No NFC? No problem. You can still manually connect to Bluetooth using your device's settings menu.

IPX4-Rated

With an IPX4 rating, the headphones can handle sweat or splashes from rain when you're working out or traveling.

Designed for a Workout

Exercise without wires holding you back. A lightweight design makes these wireless sports headphones comfortable, secure, and discreet to wear whether you're training or out and about.

Secure Fit

Ergonomically designed for a secure and comfortable fit, the earbuds feature rubber dimples to grip your ear and stay in place.

Ambient Sound

Stay aware of your environment while working out. Open-type drivers allow you to hear ambient sound along with your music, so you can still hear what's going on around you, which is ideal for outdoor workouts and runs where you need to stay alert while still enjoying your music.

Extended Listening Time

Fully charged, the headphones give you up to eight hours of music playback. Up to 200 hours of standby time allows longer gaps between charges.

Convenient Control

Use the buttons on the earpiece to adjust volume and more. Conversation flows freely with easy hands-free calling, thanks to the built-in microphone—no need to take your phone from your pocket.

Rubber bumps is the worst part of the device

I do not mind sound quality, battery charge duration. But both pairs of the rubber bumps rubbed my ears to blood. Plus they appeared to be taken off easily, this is how i have lost 1 piece of 1 pair immediately. Buttons must be long pressed for the alternate functions... Seriously? Have you ever tried to hold hand near your head for more than 1 sec time during run?

Horrible sound

I used to be a Sony believer, everything electronic had to be Sony all my life! My TV's- Sony, my stereos- Sony MY Walkman MY Discman- Sony. These headphones produce terrible static sound, I just don't understand I have ran through all the suggested resets & fixes listed. I used Android and iphone... I was so disappointed I ended up taking them back to the store. -moderated! The sound these produce are like radio static when they transmit. Disappointing.

Falls out of ears

These were great at first, but now they fall out if my ears all the time. I like them for the other features if they didn’t fall out while running. Is there any type of add-on product that I can clip on to keep them on my ears? I have tried different sizes of the ear plug cover.

Such a downer

I bought this a few months ago when my previous version Sony MDR-XB50BS finally failed me after two years of weekly use. These were presented as the newest version / one step up from those. They have, however, proven to be quite the opposite. The design looks good but the fit and finish is worse, the cables are more annoying even though they're a lot thinner. The pairing/connectivity is OK but the fit is horrid. They move around, aren't at all useable when sweating and the rubbers that come with it move around and make a cracking noise. I hate being this negative but I have to be honest about this product.

Not so good

It's not so bad until the ear bud tips come off. Quality of the ear bud tips were pretty cheap. Am constantly adjusting it. Didn't realize it but when I purchased the earphones it didn't come with different size ear tips (unlike some competitors -- you get 3 different sizes).
