This B&H Kit combines a pair of JBL 306P MkII - Powered 6.5" Two-Way Studio Monitors with a JBL LSR310S 200W Powered Subwoofer, a pair XLR cables, a pair of 1/4" cables, a pair of foam speaker platforms, and a subwoofer isolation stabilizer to create the primary components of a professional mixing and mastering monitor set up, for full range music production and broadcast facilities.

    The JBL 306P MkII - Powered 6.5" Two-Way Studio Monitor is a bi-amplified reference monitor with next-generation drivers, offering high detail, precise imaging, a wide sweet spot, and a remarkable dynamic range to enhance the mix capabilities of any modern workspace. The magnetically-shielded 306P MkII features dual 56W Class-D amplifiers, which power the 6.5" low frequency woofer and woven-composite 1" neodymium tweeter. The combined output of the woofer and tweeter offer a frequency response of 47 Hz to 20 kHz with a peak SPL of 110 dB.

    The monitor features JBL's Image Control Waveguide technology for accurate audio reproduction and JBL's Slip Stream port design for improved bass response. The 306P MkII is equipped with a boundary EQ for controlling the low frequency response when placed near a wall, as well as a 3-position HF trim switch. To ensure flexible connectivity, JBL included a balanced XLR input and a balanced 1/4" TRS input, both of which feature dented level control. Other features include a selectable input sensitivity switch that ensures compatibility with a range of signal sources. The JBL 306P MkII ships with a power cord.

    The LSR310S 200W Powered Subwoofer from JBL is a 200-watt Class-D subwoofer that has been optimized for use in JBL's 3 Series of speakers. The subwoofer is designed for use in music recording, mix, and post-production 5.1 applications. It features a 10-inch speaker and JBL's Slip Stream Port to provide a peak output of 113 dB.

    A selectable Extended Low Frequency (XLF) effect allows you to augment the low frequency response found in many dance clubs, allowing you use the LSR310S to provide a sonic picture of how your tracks will sound at the club. It also has a selectable input sensitivity and 3 crossover settings including 80Hz, XLF (120Hz), and external, allowing the use of an external crossover.

Additionally, twin conductive PVC shields reduce electrostatic noise and provide a clean signal path while retaining good flexibility for those occasions that demand it.
