The micro-ATX form factor of the Z370M Mortar can support dual-channel 4000+ (OC), 3866 (OC), 3733 (OC), 3600 (OC), 3466 (OC), 3400 (OC), 3333 (OC), 3300 (OC), 3200 (OC), 3000 (OC), 2800 (OC), 2667, 2400, and 2133 MHz non-ECC, unbuffered memory. Up to 64GB of memory is supported across four 288-pin DIMM slots, for a maximum of 16GB per slot.
The Z370M Mortar has a total of four SATA III 6 Gb/s connectors and two M.2 Key M slots, one of which supports PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 2242, 2260, and 2280 storage devices, while the other supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA III 2280 storage devices. There are also 8 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports (four at the back panel and four available via the internal connectors) and 6 x USB 2.0 Type-A ports (two at the back panel and four available via the internal connectors). Other features include an Intel I219-V Gigabit LAN controller, 2 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, and 2 x PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
The Z370M Mortar supports integrated graphics and is equipped with one DisplayPort, which supports a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2304 @ 24 Hz; one HDMI port, which supports a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 30 Hz or 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz; and one DVI-D port, which supports a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. Multi-GPU support is also enabled for dedicated graphics cards through 2-Way AMD CrossFire technology.
Using the Realtek ALC892 7.1-channel HD audio codec, the Z370M Mortar can support analog and digital audio using the integrated 3.5mm and S/PDIF jacks. Included are two SATA cables and protection is provided by a limited 3-year warranty.
