The 11.8" Rycote Microphone Protector Case is a water-resistant cylindrical case designed to provide multi-layered protection of several small-diaphragm microphones for boom operators and production sound recordists in ENG, EFP, television production, and film shoots. The exterior of the PVC case is covered in 600D oxford nylon and red fabric lines the interior. Like the nylon covering, the zipper closure is water-resistant.

Sheath your microphones with the three supplied PVC mic tubes, which telescope from 7.9 to 13.4" and include foam inserts to optimize the fit. The included carabiner clip conveniently hooks through the webbed carry loop for easy transport or attachment to a belt or pack.

Very efficient and effective way to store and transport up to three shotgun mics!

The case and tubes are well made, but as another reviewer wrote, the three tubes do not easily fit back into case. In fact, I have found it impossible although they were in the case to begin with. After fiddling with it for the longest time, I gave up.
