Designed with support from Samsung, the Radius Edge Mobile Post-Production Workstation from NextComputing will preview and stitch pre-recorded clips from the Samsung 360 Round. Once you've rendered your stitched videos, you can then import the footage into various post-production applications with the Radius Edge serving as a powerful, all-in-one VR/AR creation workstation. Well suited for traveling and doing location work, the Radius Edge comes pre-configured with Samsung 360 Round and 360 Round Viewer software installed.
The Radius Edge is powered by a 3.7 GHz Intel Core i7-8700K six-core processor, which features a maximum boost speed of 4.7 GHz. Other hardware features include 32GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM, an integrated 17.3" 1920 x 1080 display, a 500GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card with 11GB of discrete GDDR5X video memory, a Gigabit Ethernet ports for dedicated 360 Round camera control, a Thunderbolt 3 port, six USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2.
NextComputing's Radius Edge includes a Logitech MK200 USB wired mouse and multimedia keyboard. The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). Also available as an optional extra is a padded carrying case or ruggedized hard case.
