HYPER PRO Overview

This hub gives your MacBook a 4K HDMI port, a 4K Mini DisplayPort, a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C port with 100W PD and 5K video output, a 5 Gb/s USB-C port with 60W PD, SD and microSD card slots, and two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports.

Use these ports to cast your MacBook's desktop to a dual 4K display setup, quickly read and write to camera or smartphone memory cards, connect external hard drives, charge your laptop via Power Delivery, and more. Enjoy this increased functionality anywhere you go, as the HyperDrive PRO's compact size, only 5.2" wide and 1.2" deep, lets you easily slip it into most any laptop bag or case.

Note:

Please note that the HyperDrive PRO 8-in-2 USB-C Hub is not compatible with the M2 MacBook Air, as well as the 14" and 16" M1 Pro/M1 Max MacBook Pro.

Hi-Res 4K HDMI + 4K Mini DisplayPort

Experience 4K HDMI and Mini DP video on compatible 4K monitors for high-resolution content. This requires a direct HDMI to HDMI or MiniDP to MiniDP/DP connection.

40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3

HyperDrive delivers data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s using its Thunderbolt 3 / USB Type-C port, which also provides 5K video output and 100W of power delivery.

Dual USB Type-C Interfaces & Power Delivery

One USB Type-C interface supports 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 with up to 100W of power delivery, while the other supports 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1/USB 3.0) and power delivery of up to 60W.

USB Type-A Expansion Ports

An additional two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.0 ports, plus microSD and SD memory card slots allow for quick data transfer. Please note that Apple's SuperDrive is not supported.

MacBook Matching Design

A precision-milled aluminum enclosure, available in space gray and silver, have the same color, appearance, and design lines as the MacBook Pro/Air.

Compatible Devices

This dock is compatible with the 2016-2020 MacBook Pro and 2018-2020 MacBook Air. Please note that the Mini DisplayPort is not compatible with Apple's Thunderbolt display and USB ports designed for storage will not charge an iPad.

Does this power a Lacie Rugged via thunderbolt 2 connection for other owners?...ours doesnt seem to provide power to our 4tb rugged raid.

I am not sure why we would need the adapter. Lacie already has a thunderbolt cable attached. I am experiencing the same issue.
