The 5/8" Female to 5/8" Male Stud Adapter from Triad-Orbit screws onto 5/8" male threads like those on a Triad IO-H2 mounting head or a microphone stand. You are then left with a 5/8" stud to mount gear, such as lights with a 5/8" receiver.

Triad-Orbit LTADA Reviews
So far, so good.
I bought the On-Stage MY900 Ceiling Bar for Microphones and Lights and out of the box it could not hang my lights (very basic lights, btw...) I could find NO other product to make it work than this one! For me it's working fine. I mounted the light to it and it's doing it's very simple job.
These are exactly what I needed to convert my heavy duty mic stands into LED lighting stands. They can also be used for a camera mount. Thanks B&H!
Vlogging Essential - Adapter for Light Stand
I am a vlogger and operate in a small room. I use mic stands to replace all tripods and light stands. I purchased this to adapt my 5/8 mic stand to a stud with a 1/4 thread for my boom light stand. The stands are very sturdy and have small footprint.
Aluminum and light duty
Light weight and made of aluminum. It does convert a microphone stand with 5/8 thread at top to a 5/8 light stand type stud in with just one adapter. If it was made of brass or steel I would be pleased.
didn’t survive 5mins
broke once i installed the light
