A versatile fixture with an easy-to-use form factor, the 100W LED Monolight from Studio Essentials is a 5600K daylight-balanced light source that uses a COB LED to output the equivalent of a 500W tungsten flood light. The output is flicker-free, allowing high frame rates and is dimmable from 0-100% while maintaining a high 95+ CRI, which is an indication of accurate and consistent color. The monolight employs a Bowens S-Type front accessory mount that makes it compatible with both Studio Essential and Interfit modifiers, as well as those from the many manufacturers that use this mount. To take the edge off the bright LEDs, a convenient speedring is integrated into the design of the 100W LED Monolight to accept the included pop-up softbox.

The Studio Essentials 100W LED Monolight is flicker-free, meaning filmmakers can shoot in 4K or 120 fps slow-motion.

Dimmable

The light is dimmable from 100% down to 0% in stepless increments. Power output is displayed on the LCD screen, allowing you to note power levels in order to recreate lighting ratios.

Versatile Modifier Mount

The Studio Essentials 100W LED Monolight utilizes the popular Bowens S-Type modifier mount, making it compatible with the same modifiers as all Studio Essentials and Interfit flashes. Can this light be powered with the nomad battery ...

Can this light be powered with the nomad battery pack and if so, for how long?
Asked by: Jack
No because the Nomad Battery pack has the incorrect voltage. The monolight needs 110 or 120 volts. The Nomad battery pack is 5 volts only. If it did match up in voltage, it would last for about 15 minutes at full power.
