Part of the Think Tank Modular Belt System V3.0, the Skin Changer Pop Down V3.0 is a lightweight, compressible pouch designed to hold one DSLR body with attached battery grip and L-plate, a telephoto zoom lens, or a pair of smaller telephoto lenses. Its unique Pop Down design allows you to expand the bag's height by 3.6" to accommodate taller lenses or attached lens hoods, and it features an interior pocket for smaller accessories as well as a front zippered pocket to hold lens caps. The pouch's design has a drawstring closure for quick access, and for a more secure closure Sound Silencers hook-and-loop fasteners are also featured. The pouch's exterior is constructed from 420D nylon and 600D polyester, with a water-repellent coating, and a seam-sealed rain cover is also included to protect the pouch from the elements. Its design also incorporates a grab handle, additional attachment points, and the pouch can be rotated or locked in place when attached to a compatible Think Tank belt.

Solved a problem I have had for years

I have multiple bags from Thinktank as well as Domke and Billingham. They each have their plusses and minuses so I use the right bag given specific use. But sometimes I don't want to or cannot carry a bag - such as when hiking with a backpack. With a backpack in particular I need fast access to the gear so I don't have to stop each time I swap lenses - this rules out a photo pack. I have used various solutions over the years and was never really happy until I bought this belt and a pouch. It was fantastic on a recent hiking trip. This pouch is great as it is roomy enough for a medium lens with some accessories or a bigger lens. I have carried a Nikon 300 f4 Pf with the TC14 with a divider installed or a Nikon 400 f4.5 or 70-200 f2.8 by itself with the popdown section opened up. I can go as big as a Nikon 600 f6.3 PF which is as big as I ever need. Worked great for me on a recent hiking trip and I am now going to expand the belt system as needs dictate. I should have done this years ago.

Great fanny pack for lenses, but could use some more pockets

This is perfect for carrying some extra lenses for quick lens changes. However, I do wish it had some dedicated pockets for memory cards and extra batteries. There's only one big pocket in the front and by the time you put your phone and a lens cloth in it, there's just not much room for much else. I see so many places where additional zippared pockets could have been placed. Still a great bag though.
