    LG PF50KA.AUSZ reviews

PF50KA Full HD DLP Portable Home Theater Projector is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from 8 of 10 In general it is great and has a lot of features. What I don't like is that some free apps are Russian... just weird and lack of device location options. USB and USB-C are only for memory and not DVD inputs. Not all dads has a HDMI and I have not seen an HDMI conversion from USB or RCAs. "Connect a Device" section seems to to work as it should and most 'connections' under this section only have HDMI option... again why is most is limited to only HDMI. That is why I got it for the cable jack and thinking the USB/USB-C can be used to connect devices that do not have HDMI. I also wish the overall size of the screen can change more in the problem instead of change the location of the projector. Other than some software issues and USB functions, this is great. Good picture even on a white wall, WIFI is great and easy to connect even in Japan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact and Easy to Set Up This is my first HD projector. It is compact, light and very easy to set up. However it is also very configurable if you are into calibration. Colour and image detail are both very good. Perhaps because of the compactness, there are a few compromises: - it is not very bright and contrast could be higher. - the fan can be intruding if energy savings is set to "low" (i.e. brightest) - the focussing lever is imprecise

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not quite as expected Main reason i bought this one is because it supports USB-C charging, however, when I found out either my USB-C charger (45W PD) or my USB-C battery pack (PD also) is able to power it. Also, it's not bright enough, even in a complete dark room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great portable projector This projector is one of the best portable projectors, it is bright enough to be watchable with some lights on, the only downside is the builtin speaker which is not loud enough, but you can connect Bluetooth speakers, or headphones

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 1080p Projector From LG This is my third LG projector and this one doesn't disappoint. I am not sure why there are a few negative reviews, because this is a prize. Stepping up from an 800 Lumens 720p projector, the first thing you notice is the true HD detail. Colors are beautiful, text is crisp and even though this one is listed at 600 lumens, it is brighter. It also has a shorter throw, which is an added bonus. Bluetooth connected to my 5.1 surround sound system indoors, and to my outside speaker on the patio, both with excellent sound and no lag. The LG WebOS is nice, but the apps are limited. You get the basic ones, or can download, like Hulu, Netflix and Youtube, but don't expect much more....like VLC player. This is instantly fixed by adding my Amazon firestick. Fine tuning is done on top of the projector. The slider does have some give making it a little harder to focus where my last projector had a nice stiff slider making it easier to fine tune. It is nothing major, just wanted to point it out. Other things to note; the projector is light (great for portability) and the remote works great. There is lots of fine tuning options (color, contrast, sound input options, connecting phones, computers, etc.) It is watchable with lit windows on either side of the screen, but works best in darkened rooms. Not for full-on sunny rooms. The added TV Tuner is why I always choose LG....highly recommend this projector. No regrets.
