With a striking double-cutaway design, the ESP E-II GB-4 is an electric bass styled in a black finish. It features an ash body with a bolt-on, 34" scale maple neck. This neck sports a maple fingerboard with 21 extra-jumbo frets and distinctive black block inlays.
For electronics, the GB-4 offers two soapbar pickups courtesy of Seymour Duncan. These pickups are passive, and are complemented by the Seymour Duncan STC-3M3 3-Band EQ. This system gives you the ability to change volume with a push/pull control in addition to the usual knobs, as well as a balance knob, a concentric stack of bass and treble knobs, and a dedicated midrange control.
You'll also note the Schaller straplock, Gotoh tuners, a bone nut, and a hipshot bridge, which anchors the strings to the body. These features make the bass a well-appointed instrument. With a hardshell form-fitting case, this bass will be safe in transport.
