Capture and share your life in stunning HD quality with the LG K8 (2018) 16GB Smartphone. The K8 features a dual-camera design, with an 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. Both cameras feature HDR for more dynamic photos, and the front camera has a built-in light for illuminating your selfies. When you have the shot you love, Quick Share lets you post pictures and video to social media instantly after taking them.

LG integrates Bluetooth (4.2) and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) technology to enable the K8 to connect with the world around you. Enjoy a variety of features that utilize this technology, such as Mobile Hotspot. Mobile Hotspot lets you use your K8 as a gateway for up to 8 other wireless devices, giving them internet access by sharing your LTE Plus data connection. Send via Bluetooth is another feature that's all about sharing. Send contacts, pictures, video, and more to nearby devices.

Running the Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system, this phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8917 1.4 GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. You can store your apps, selfies, and video on the 16GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via an (optional) microSD card up to 32GB.

This phone is unlocked and compatible with GSM/4G LTE networks. The K8 has a removable 2,500mAh lithium-ion battery that gives you up to 12 hours and 30 minutes of talk time, and up to 14 days of standby time.

Android 7.0 Nougat
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 7.0 Nougat adds major productivity capabilities to the operating system in the form of a multi-window view, which allows for two apps to be placed onscreen at a time. An improved notification system allows you to interact with texts and emails right from your notification pane - without needing to open the app. Other features include file-based encryption, a Data Saver mode, the ability to scale text and icons to better suit your phone's screen, and more.
GSM / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The K8 (2018) is a US variant. The K8 (2018)'s LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America. It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. Optimize Your Photography
LG has given the K8 a host of features that let you optimize your photo and video capabilities when using the 8MP and 5MP cameras. Make sure you capture the perfect photo with Burst Shot. It snaps multiple shots when holding down the shutter button. Or, you can set things up with the Self-Timer. Set a timer of 3-10 seconds after you hit the shutter button, giving you time to compose the scene.
