Bird Habitat Lights

I actually bought these Full Spectrum LEDs to provide artificial daylight for an indoor bird habitat. They're adequately bright, and according to their advertising, they have a higher CRI, they use less energy, they generate less heat, and they'll last longer than the CFLs that I've used previously. After about two weeks, I can say, So far, so good.

Flicker at 29.97 fps

I had been looking forward to replacing my compact fluorescent bulbs - which contain mercury - with these ALZOS. The color of the ALZO bulbs is good, they are lighter weight, consume less power and produce less heat. However, I cannot use them at shutter speeds greater than 1/125th of a second as I get flickering. (I have done a number of model railroad videos using my old fluorescent bulbs which allow me to work at 1/250th of a second for crisp images of moving trains.). If you can accept a maximum shutter speed of 1/125th of a second I would recommend these bulbs.

Are these good as replacement lights for a light tent? They'll be placed inside fixtures outside the tent and shone at the tent to illuminate it.
