Designed specifically for their 9.25" EdgeHD optical tube assembly (OTA), the Celestron 0.7x Focal Reducer Lens speeds its focal ratio from an f/10 to a much faster f/7.1 for drastically reduced exposure times with the same results, and wider fields of view. The reducer maintains the EdgeHD optic's flat-field performance through the use of a 4-element lens system using Lanthanum glass, with blackened edges, and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics. The Reducer is made to attach directly to the back of the EdgeHD OTA which keeps the same back focus for cameras and accessories so there is no need for new gear. A 60mm clear aperture is optimized for larger full-frame sensors to avoid vignetting of the scene.

is there interference of this 9.25 edge hd focal reducer with the Celestron motor focuser on same OTA? I have read that there is but do not have the latest call on that. Thanks!

What size are the threads on the front? I'm guessing 42 or 48? The description says it is "optimized for a 42mm image circle" and then also says "allows for use with larger (full frame) sensors" which is confusing to me as it sounds like its 42 mm but needs to be 48 mm for full frame?

BH #CE07RLEHD925 • MFR #94245 are T2 threads. A T2 or T-mount or T-thread has a width of 42mm with a thread pitch of 0.75mm. An M42 is also 42mm, but with a 1mm thread pitch. DON'T try to intermix the two or you will likely strip the threads on one, the other or both of the things you are trying to force together
