The Pure Base 600 Mid-Tower Case from be quiet! is designed for quiet operation and efficient cooling. As a mid-tower case, it can support up to a standard sized ATX motherboard with room to spare for additional storage drives, graphics cards and other PCIe-based expansion cards, and water-cooling hardware. There are also plenty of fan mounting spots and it comes with two pre-installed Pure Wing 2 fans to keep things cool. To simplify hardware installation, be quiet! has designed this case with adjustable drive bays, which let you reposition them to fit a longer graphics card. Once everything's in place, you'll have quick and easy access to two USB ports, audio in/out jacks, as well as a three-speed fan controller located at the front panel.

Perfect for Small Server

I primarily bought this case due to its dual 5.25" external bays and its minimal noise output, and it worked perfectly. I utilized the Icy Dock 5.25" to 3.5" adapters (MB343SPO) along with the 3.5" to 2 x 2.5" hot swap adapters (MB742SP-B) and it all fit in the 5.25" bays flawlessly. Had plenty of space for more drives internally should I need them in the future, though these did not work with the Icy Dock or Sabrent 3.5" to 2.5" adapters FYI. Also ample amount of cable management space. I liked the height adjustable top cover for noise reduction as I could barely hear the system when turned on, though I did use 3 additional be quiet! case fans for the top exhaust, so I'm sure that helped minimize noise levels as well. This system only used a 7600x and LSI 9300-i8 HBA (with heatsink fan shroud adapter) with 5 x 2.5 SATA SSDs and no GPU so keeping temps low was easy enough, despite the front not being fully open/mesh for airflow, which helped further keep noise down I'm sure. Would definitely recommend, and plan to use again in future build.

This case is very well designed and allows for multiple configurations of CPUs, coolers and still has front panel slots for CD/DVDs! Well written instructions allow for easy assembly (could use a bit more detail though).
