The zoom-through Raynox HD-7049PRO Wide-Angle Conversion Lens 0.7X does not suffer from focus drift when zooming with lenses with a 10x zoom range or shorter. It features coated optics for improved clarity and light transmission, and the outer edges of the optics feature black enameling to absorb stray light that could reduce contrast. This contributes to the converter being able to resolve 540 lines per mm. The HD-7049PRO mounts onto your lens with a 49mm filter thread, and the wide-angle converter features an 82mm front filter thread with an 86mm outer diameter.
The optical design uses three elements in three groups, and it adds optical coatings and anti-glare paint to produce a sharp wide-angle converter with good contrast that resolves up to 540 lines/mm at the center with an MTF of 30%.
