Is it flexible? is it hdmi 2.0? Thank you.
Asked by: Max
According to Comprehensive, "This cable is HDMI 2.0 now. • Certified 18Gbps High Speed (End to End) • UltraHD [email protected] 4:4:4 Deep Color Sampling (4096x2160p). As far as flexibility it has a more solid build as it is a Pro Grade cable. The flexibility will be very limited.

question

I have a 15' HDMI Mini to HDMI A cable. Can I put it in 1 end of a coupler and this in the other end of the coupler and then have this going into a Black Magic Ultra Studio Recorder? If so how bad will signal or quality loss be?
Asked by: Zach K.
Despite the price, I'd go with the other cable, (NTW 24AWG Low Profile Booster Cable CL2 Rated - 100' ) because of the booster. Per other cable, Like any HDMI connection, anything above 35' is only possible. Not guaranteed. A coupler may work perfectly fine, but 100 is quite a lot. It may work very well, or not at all. A poor quality signal is unlikely. If your source is very strong it may be good. Most of us in the business consider 50' to be the realistic maximum.

question

Is this an HDMI version 1.4 or an HDMI version 2 cable? Will it support 4K resolutions at 60 hertz?
Asked by: Paul R.
Most HDMI cables are not numbered. HDMI 2.0 features will work with existing HDMI cables. Higher bandwidth features, such as [email protected]/60 (2160p) video formats, will require existing High Speed HDMI cables. This high speed cable supports 4K Full UHD (Up to 4096 x 2160/60, up to 48-bit color depth)
