no good poor quality control

i just purchased 2 of these for canon 1dx mark lll upon installing and removing the outer protective layer the glass has small scratches on it..obviously from manufacturing. tossed it out..installed the second one and same senerio after removing the last outer protection.. the side of the sceen both side's are not adhering properly its not glue i know that, just bad quality control with this product. Now looking for a better alternative. would not recommend, if you do purchase better buy at least 5 and hope one of them is good. GOOD LUCK.

Not too much to say about this - it does its job and is the right size and shape. It all buy disappears when applied, just as you expect from a screen protector these days.

Purchased for my D850 several months ago and it went on easy with no issues. I followed the instructions to the letter that were included in the box, and everything worked out fine. No problems at all for the last 5 months that it has been on the camera back.

Other reviewers had trouble with aligning this screen protector with the display of their cameras... Im glad to have read their experiences as it helped me to strategize the process. before any unpacking of the protective contents, glove up!! I used basic nitrile gloves and made sure the material was snug against my finger tips for most accurate and slop free operation of my digits. after cleaning the display as instructed, I half pealed the rear protective film from the screen protector and began to align the edges of the protector with the display, adhering one side first. once satisfied with alignment I pressed firmly to keep protector from drifting as I slowly removed the rest of the protective film. allowing the glass protector to make contact with the screen from one side to the other helped minimize and virtually eliminate the air bubbles. Vs trying to make surface contact all at once. after the protector was secured to the display I noticed a slight misalignment, to fix it I shifted the protector with my gloved fingers, pressing down on the screen and in the direction that I needed it to shift. In all I thought it was a simple process, but could see how if you rushed the process could end up with less than satisfactory results. Only wish it came with a protector for the top display by the shutter release. aside from that nit pick, the performance is as expected. Used on a D780.

The screen protector is, well, a screen protector that does exactly what it is intended to do. No problem here. What concerned me - and I did send an email to the packaging department about this - is the the large amount of packaging used (large cardboard box and a lot of plastic bubble materials) for such a small item. The packaging is not even close to being ecologically sound, something I would think B&H would be aware of. John Simpson

I have this same protector on my X-T3 and X-T5. I also purchased the Vello Brand LCD screen protector Ultra on my X-T4 and my Canon 5D Mark IV. The application kit is all very effective and easy to use and the material used for this screen protector is as good as the raw screen. Crystal clear and solid protection. The protector does not extend across the entire glass back but it DOES cover the entire effective lcd display area with room to spare.

Another brand of screen protectors uses the same one for the X70 and the Panasonic FZ2500. Is this the right size for the Panasonic? Thanks, Bill

The Fujifilm X70 and Panasonic FZ2500 both have a 3 Screen. While this Screen Protector is designed for the X70 you may be able to use it on the FZ2500 as well. We also have some Cut-to-Size Screen Protectors you could look in to for the FZ700, B&H # SESPSDS.

I bought a pro-optic screen protector from Adorama last week, supposedly made for my canon t5i and it is larger than the screen and does not fit. this product sounds nice but I don't want to go through that again. Can you confirm that it does indeed fit properly for the t5i screen. Also what is the return policy if I try it and it does not fit?thx

As this screen protector is designed specifically for the Canon Rebel T5i, it will fit the LCD screen. Should you be unhappy with your purchase, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your item.

The Vello LCD Screen Protector Ultra for Canon EOS R Camera is designed for the larger 3.2-inch LCD screen used on the Canon EOS R, while the Canon EOS R6 uses a smaller 3-inch LCD screen. As such, I would recommend using the Expert Shield Glass Screen Protector for Canon EOS R6 Digital Camera, B&H # EXGSPCR6, for your usage needs.

Has anyone tried using a fine magic marker to draw CROP MARKS onto the vello screen protector itself & not have any issues? (I'm want 2.39:1 aspect ratio crop marks but the grid overlays canon provides on 90d are useless. Magic Lantern isn't compatible nor do I want to use it anyway)

No. Have zero need for 2.39:1 aspect ratio crop marks. Canon grids meet my requirements very well. Would anticipate some blurring of magic marker lines with use, not to mention drying period immediately following application to screen protector.
