ORCA OR-434 Overview

The lightweight Orca OR-434 Hard-Shell Boompole Case utilizes thermoforming technology to provide high-level protection when storing and transporting a large boompole on shoots and travels.

The OR-434 has an internal length of 37.4". It features a well-padded interior with two hook-and-loop fastener straps to hold the boompole securely in place. There are also two rubber straps located inside at the top, which can be used to grasp the boompole cable and/or connectors.

For easy portability, the case is outfitted with a detachable shoulder strap.

Is the case durable enough to be checked in as luggage?

The ORCA OR-434 is a semi-rigid case that will protect your pole from light to moderate impacts. It is not an airtight flight case, and may not be ideal for this purpose.
