Transform your compatible Galaxy smartphone into a computer with the DeX Pad Dock from Samsung. Dock your S8/8+, S9/9+, or Note8/Note9 onto the DeX Pad and a special DeX mode will launch. Connect an (optional) external monitor to the DeX Pad via HDMI, and you can now enjoy a desktop-like experience with your phone as the computer.
While connected, you can utilize the phone's screen as a touchpad, just like on a laptop, to navigate the Galaxy Desktop application. Access your business productivity apps, Windows VMs, and more.
Built-in ports on the DeX Pad allow for additional functionality. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports can be used to connect an (optional) mouse and keyboard, and the USB Type-C port can be used with the included wall charger to recharge your phone while it's in the DeX. To help keep your phone working at its best, the DeX Pad has a built-in fan to keep it cool.
You can also utilize virtualized Windows desktops and apps with enterprise-ready VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solutions, including cloud-based solutions (sold separately) from Citrix, VMware, and Amazon.
