Entry Period/Methods of Entry. The Sweepstakes will run from on or about October 28, 2018 until on or about December 23, 2018 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period are void. Winner Selection/Prizes/Odds. The B&H Social Team will randomly select a winner from among all eligible entries every Monday during the Entry Period, for a total eight (8) winners (each a "Winner"). Each Winner will receive a B&H Gift Card pre-valued in the amount of $500.00. No cash or other substitutions will be offered. Winner selection is in the sole and absolute discretion of the B&H Social Team. Any taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Identity of Winners/Eligible Participants. Winners will be identified by the email account associated with the Facebook or Twitter account from which their Entry was submitted or the email account provided with a mail-in entry. An email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the internet access or online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. With a wide focal-length range and a constant f/4 aperture in a compact form factor, the Sony E PZ 18-110mm f/4 G OSS Lens offers videographers and cinematographers a versatile lens choice for lightweight operations. While the lens may seem small, it has professional features to back it up. The 18-110m focal-length range covers moderately wide to narrow angles-of-view. Sony's built-in Smooth Motion Optics leverage the internal mechanics of the lens to minimize focus breathing, focus shifting, and other anomalies that would otherwise be noticeable when adjusting the lens during recording.

The body of the lens sports separate focus, zoom, and iris rings for complete manual control. Just pull the focus ring back and full-time manual focus is engaged. The focus ring itself has built-in cinema-standard gearing for follow-focus compatibility. Zoom functionality can be operated both manually and electronically. The zoom ring is connected to the lens mechanically, so crash-zooms can be achieved without lag. Iris operation can be done automatically, or by rotating the iris ring. By disengaging the iris click switch, manual iris adjustments can be made smoothly.

For smaller, less robust cameras, a quick-release tripod foot is included. The foot secures towards the rear of the lens for tripod use. Alternatively, a conventional lens support can be attached near front of the lens for compatibility with rod-based lens supports. The filter thread will accept 95mm-diameter round filters and the included lens cap. A lens hood is also included for minimizing flare. The hood's shuttered design can be closed when the camera is not in use.

Smooth Motion Optics
Sony's SMO (Smooth Motion Optics) design and construction minimizes optical shifts that can have a negative impact on image quality. Focus breathing is minimized by an internal focus mechanism, focus shift while zooming is eliminated by precise focus tracking adjustment, and axial shift is minimized by a constant-length design.
Versatile Zoom Control
In addition to a smooth servo zoom, mechanical manual zoom ensures precise control with an immediate response. The desired angle of view can be accurately reached by preventing over or undershoot due to lag. Zoom ring direction can be easily switched as required, smooth, slow powered zoom is supported, and an inner zoom mechanism means that the length of the lens remains constant, regardless of focal length.
Professional Focusing Features
The focus ring slides back to quickly engage manual focusing. Cinema-standard MOD 0.8 gear teeth are built into the focus ring, enabling use of standard follow focuses without requiring cumbersome focus gear accessories.
Compact Design
The lightweight form-factor of this lens contributes to the kind of mobility that active movie shooting demands. Small size and low weight can be advantageous when using gimbals and other types of support as well.
Optical SteadyShot
Built-in Optical SteadyShot (OSS) image stabilization helps to keep recorded images stable and free of excess blur in a wide range of handheld or locked-down shooting conditions involving camera movement.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Go-To Lens for Most Projects We rented this lens for our FS5 recently, and decided to keep it after testing it for a week. The image quality is actually superior to our Rokinon Cine DS primes, with less chromatic aberration. Image stabilization is a wonderful thing to have when filming events, and I feel that the zoom range offered meets my needs - I'm able to get close framing of a subject on the stage of our auditorium from the control room in the back of the room, and it's perfect for our event run-and-gun shooting. I love the sheer amount of control this lens offers. It's way better than using the 18-105 that we got with the camera, and has been better than my favorite cine lenses as well.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT'S A KEEPER!!! I bought this lens not really knowing if I was going to keep it or not. It was depending on how it performedwith my A7r2 and FS7. I come from a Stills lens background, not Cine but I wanted something that could give me an all around look and serve numerouspurposes, while I was shooting different events. To be honest I'mnot sure if I would call this lens a cine lens, more like a hybrid lens, between Broadcast and the ability to be a Cine Lens. This Lens is very nice for reacting to the environment,events, and things around you. Run and Gun as they say works great with this lens, news,docs and event shooting will work great as well. At f4 it's not going to be that fast lens but it has a lot of other features to make up for that and if you're shooting outside or have mediocre lighting it will be efficient and yield some great sharp, clean footage. $3,500 is a lot but not for a lens of this kind. This lens will make your life much easier if you use AF or even if you like the feel of a good MF lens. It's parfocal with minimum breathing. IT'S BIG and it's not a carry around in your hand all daylens. On my FS7 it pairs great, on my A7r2 it looks and feels pregnant. At the end of the day, i'mkeeping it for all the reasons I thought I would. It just works better than most other lenses on a Sony Camera, All the way around. Hope this helps you.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good lens for documentary work I bought this lens to replace the Sony 28-135 for use on my FS7. Because this lens is designed for the super 35 format and because it is 18mm at the wide end it is good for hand held use and yet it still has good reach at the long end. The lens is sharp and neutral in it's color rendition. When used with the FS7 the autofocus is surprisingly subtle and accurate. But having the option of repeatable manual focus is important in my work. The built in steady shot assist is subtle and some times a bit weird like when you pan and then stop the pan the image in the camera glides to a stop and then moves just slightly back in the opposite direction of the pan. The power zoom control on the lens is good. I use it often to get slow moves in on a subject. If you are doing documentary hand held work I think this lens is a better choice than the new Emount Fujinon 18-55 zoom because you have longer reach and the benefits of a power zoom. A trade off to consider however is that this lens is almost a stop slower than the Fujinon. For the price this is a good compromise and I think well worth the money.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Improvement over Sony's 28-135 I'm a Sony FS7 user since the moment the camera came available. The original 28-135 lens was always good for any shot that fit my focal length needs. That meant interviews and anything requiring longer focal lengths. But I was always sad that I could not shoot amazing wide angle views or even good ones. A building, a sunset, even a wide interview, had to settle for an adequate shot with the 28-135. I've just used my new 18-110 on a week long shoot that included vistas of ocean, skylines, and great cathedrals. I found the 18 end to be just right and nearly amazing for most all of my needs. I would not have a complaint at all about using it for 95% of my wide and telephoto shots. I film often for travel features and it's great for all shooting on the move. For those times when I have more time and/or more people available to help me carry gear I will occasionally choose to use my Zeiss 18mm with a Metabones (yields a wider view) . Sad that Sony would not consider a trade in program for my old 28-135 or at least a discount for customer loyalty. But the 18-110 is a lens that I can be happy with immediately and for a long time to come. Wide shots from my first shoot with it are attached...

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long waited, almost good but, unfortunately, not there yet.. I purchased Sony 18-110 as soon as it became available and started using right away. Despite some annoying details, still convinced that this is the lens I need. I will keep it and will get used to it. But why 3.5 out of 5? What kind of details? Sony, lets be honest: this is NOT fully responsive zoom as you have been advertising in one of your Youtube videos. Servo-zoom is very comparable to its predecessor 28-135. Meaning - sloppy! When using servo zoom, there are two real speeds: very slow and relatively fast. There is NO gradual speed increase/decrease like we are all used to when using ENG lenses. And, as announced in BH description, there is a lag. And quite a serious lag. It is hard to get used to this. Sony, I really dont understand: can you make an optional handle like Canon does it? And, if necessary, for quite a substantial amount of money! So, instead of using camera zoom control, allow me to buy a zoom handle from you for this lens but professional one! Well built, with smooth zoom in/out - gradual and without lag! I will pay as much as Canon charges for similar product. No problem! Just make it optional and available! Everything else seems to running as described: small, very compact. Sits nicely in my hand. Reacts nicely on back light. Offers kind-of bokeh for interviews. Quite sharp. Nice range. Parfocal. Focus as described instant. Iris has tiny lag but negligible. Virtually no distortion. Nice color reproduction. One detail I seem to have noticed some decrease of sharpness at the very end around 105 mm. But I would have to check it again. More about antivibration to come.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from My perfect option between DSLR-lens and expensive ENG-lens I got this through a bundle deal with the FS7mkii. I was quite unsure about the whole thing, I have been hands on with the 28-160mm and it was straight out useless for my needs. Just a bit too narrow at the wide end, but serious lag in the fly-by-wire manual zoom was the biggest issue. To my great relief the manual zoom on this lens actually IS manual. I'm spoiled with the Canon Cineservo 17-120mm and Fujinon 19-90mm, but I needed this kit to pack some more range than the still lenses that are very frequently used on the lighter kits like C300, FS7 and so on. Although at this lens has some limitations IE an aperture of f/4 I feel this is the most ideal docu/reality-lens in the segment below the waaaaay more expensive 19-90/17-120. I do feel that the motor zoom could have been a bit smoother, and faster when I need it to change composition. Basically, I won't even use it and I didn't intend to when I ordered. With DSLR optics everything is manual and by my left hand anyway, and this lens provides a manual zoom that is much smoother than the zoom on still lenses where you shift much glass around with the risk of jagged movement. The focus ring is much more like the cine lenses with a nice, smooth movement and a much longer travel distance than with the still lenses. And where I used to change DSLR lenses at 55mm focal length, this lens move on to twice that. I add a shortcut to Center scan in my User Menu, and this gives a very usable focal length where I used to swap between a 18-55mm and a 70-200mm on other kits. Someone noted that the iris has a small lag, although I haven't noticed all the time I use variable ND to expose and leaves the aperture wide open all the time anyway.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice B-roll Lense I purchased this lease to replace my Sony 28-135 kit lens that came with my FS7. This lens is much better to shoot b-roll with. The 28mm just wasn't wide enough to be effective and the fly by wire zoom drove me nuts. If this lens was a f/2.8 I would have given it 5 stars.
