Gitzo Adventury 30L overview

  • 1Description

Designed with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the 30L Adventury Backpack from Gitzo works as both a spacious gear bag and an everyday backpack. Its dedicated internal unit features several padded dividers and is specifically designed for organizing your photo equipment, but you can also completely remove it from the bag when packing for a leisure trip. The bag can carry a DSLR or mirrorless camera with telephoto lens attached, four to six extra lenses, a 13" laptop, a full-size tablet, plus several small items in its accessory pockets.

The Adventury backpack gives you rear access to the main compartment via a full-length zipper, so you can easily store or retrieve your gear, and offers an expandable roll top so you can pack personal items without messing up your workflow. On each side, large zippered pockets expand in width for extra space and can hold a water bottle or even a small tripod. Tripods and monopods can also be carried with the multi-link straps in the back, or the dual straps at the bottom of the bag. Additionally, other exterior pockets and accessory loops can be used to transport small items.

Made to brave nearly any weather, the Adventury is made with water-resistant materials and offers coated bottom fabric and zippers for a rugged construction. It also comes with a rain cover for use in extreme conditions. The backpack can be carried via its comfortable shoulder straps or in conjunction with its waist belt for improved comfort during longer treks.

  • Backpack holds one camera with lens attached, four to six additional lenses, a 13" laptop, tablet, and other accessories
  • Internal unit on main compartment with padded dividers, can be removed when not transporting photo gear
  • Dedicated slip pockets on the inside of the lid for both a laptop and tablet
  • Rear access to your equipment thanks to a full-length zipper at the back

  • Large side pockets are versatile, can store small accessories when closed or carry oversize items when opened

  • Designed to be water resistant with coated bottom area and zippers, includes rain cover for extreme conditions

    Gitzo Adventury 30L reviews

Adventury Backpack (30L, Green) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a lot of space for Pro camera and gear Bought this one, rather than the 45L version the hope that it would allow me to carry some of my equipment for bird photography and plane spotting but it really doesn't fit much. See photo, one Nikon D5 and the Sigma 150-600mm plus one other short lens is all that really fits. I wish GITZO hadn't thought of putting this detachable insides in the bag. It takes up too much space. They should have used the bag as a camera bag, that's all and not attempt to dual purpose it which takes away a lot of space. Then what's up with the netting over the internal bay? It gets in the way of easy access to the kit and when closed, the zip pullers interfere with the zips for closing the bag itself. I just ended up folding back under the inside pull out and out of the way, may end up cutting it off completely! The outside pockets are next to useless for any real kit other than a spare battery and there is no easy way of carrying a monopod or tripod here either. My Dell 13 inch laptop just about makes it into the insider pocket but no room for charger! Very disappointed overall by the design for the price, in attempting to please all people, it pleases none.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not that great The build quality was good and held all my gear but here is the deal breaker for me, the front pocket was too small for an iPad mini to fit in . One side pocket it would fit in and other was too small for it. None of the pockets had any organizational webbing or strapping in any of the pockets, so you have to dig for small items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best Super lightweight but strong. I have my Fuji X-H1 and six lenses plus filters, six lenses, extra XPro1 body, flash etc and at 81 years old I can still hoist it around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me I'm an enthusiast and wanted a bag that could hold a camera body and two lenses. My Canon 24 to 105 L and 100 to 400 L both fit with plenty of room. Side pockets provide room for a water bottle and gear needing ready access. Easy to carry tripod. I like the top compartment that allows stowing a jacket and food, which was one reason I bought it (seems most backpacks just carry camera gear). Very well made. My first camera backpack and very happy with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well made, good quality materials, idiotic hip belt. The bag is well made, with really good quality materials, and is rather good looking I believe. The problem is that the hip belt on this model is non removable, and unfortunately with a bag of this size means most people (with the exception of people with really short torsos) will be buckling it across their stomach. Too bad, it is a nice bag otherwise. If you're not really short I suggest trying the 45, which features a removable hip belt if it doesn't line up correctly.
