Doesn’t mate properly

As the other reviewer stated, this doesn’t mount flush with a standard mitchell mount and it also doesn’t not align properly with the R2 plate. Its a total swing and a miss on this product and I don’t understand why it’s still for sale.

Doesn't conform to Mitchell mount specs

Beautifully machined, but it has two serious flaws. 1) The dimensions of the adapter don't conform to Mitchell mount specifications. The diameter of the adapter is about 2-3mm too large for it to sit in the counterbore of a mitchell mount. We've tried this in various standard Mitchell mounts, offsets, and dollies. As such, it will not sit flush in a Mitchell mount! So, off to the machinist to get this turned down in a lathe. And then, you discover the flange at the base of the threaded collar is also a couple mm too large for the mount to sit into the hole of a Mitchell mount. So, this needs to be milled down as well. 2) The thread pitch of the collar and castle nut is not standard. It's too coarse. As such, when tightening down the collar, although it is faster to get the castle nut on, it is difficult to get enough 'bite' to tighten the collar down, which would be easier with the finer pitch of a standard Mitchell thread. DJI: there are reasons there are standards! Don't make up your own. Would recommend getting either a Cinemilled mitchell collar or a MSE one.
