The Sub-65 Sub Series Tripod with Hide Clamp II from Velbon is a 5.7 lb aluminum support that has a load capacity of 9.9 lb. The fluid head itself has a single-locking knob that controls the movement of the 360° pan and the back-and-forth movement of the tilt. The pan handle can switch to either side of the head to accommodate left- or right-handed users, and the included QB-46 Quick Release Plate can attach to the head in multiple directions.
