The Leatherman Wave+ Multi-Tool features stainless steel construction with a black finish and 17 tools to accomplish a wide range of tasks, and is one of Leatherman's most popular models. Each tool locks into place for safe and confident use in the studio, on a worksite, or as an everyday carry.
Each tool contained within the Wave+ is suitable for multiple tasks, making this an incredibly flexible addition to any professional tool kit. Flipping open the multi-tool reveals a large and durable set of needle nose pliers which are ridged for an optimized grip. The crook of the pliers has wire cutters, crimpers, and strippers integrated into its design, useful for quick electrical fixes. When opened, a selection of tools can be swiveled out from either handle. One handle has a screwdriver with a reversible #1-2 Philips and 3/16" flat bit and a combination bottle/can opener. The other features a medium-sized flat head screwdriver, a reversible micro screwdriver with Phillips and flat ends, and a pair of spring-loaded scissors. When correctly lined up the two handles form an 8" ruler for convenient measuring. After folding the multi-tool you can access a double sided file with a diamond-coated side for use on metal surfaces. The other side is appropriate for sanding wood, which can be cut with the push/pull saw. Two different 2.9" knives, one straight and the other serrated, confidently slice fabrics or tear through rope thanks to their 420HC stainless steel. A well-hidden lanyard clip can be popped out from one of the Wave+'s handles when you aren't using the included sheath. The black MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment) sheath features a nylon webbing strap with a snap closure on the rear and a touch-fastened front closure.
