Musicians Value MCrane1 Reviews
Great mic arm!
This arm is great - perfect position on my desk, and helps make my mic extremely easy to access and extremely easy to store.
This is very poorly made
Thi sdevice is not worth the money, very poorly made of thin stamped metal and the adjustments do not hold well.
Solid arm
Adjustable, works fine with my setup.
Very WEAK arm
This item is not strong enough to hold a pro mic and wind shield... Cannot Tighten enough to not sag... Mic clip is also cheap and strips easily.
Very Great Extension!
I got this Suspension Crane Arm for my Samson Q2U Microphone, and since I have had it, it is very reliable to my needs. The microphone grip it comes with is a little tight for my Microphone. However, my microphone came with a grip that can screw into the suspension crane. My only fault with is that many times the metal tip got stuck screwed into my microphone grip when I tried to unscrew it. But you can easily unscrew it with a piece of metal like a screwdriver and turning it loose from the grip and screwing it back into the suspension. This is exactly what I needed when I was buying a suspension crane. It is easy to retract and take comfort in knowing my microphone is safe while on it. I've been able to have free range in how I sit while I talk to people online and speak whenever I need to record audio. I'm excited to keep using this product. I would recommend this suspension crane arm if you can find it on a deal!
Like it a lot
Just what I need
Exactly what I needed
This crane comes with the 5/8 and 3/8 threaded inserts, making it a breeze to adapt to my existing shock mount and mic. Springs are stiff and keep the arm in place where I leave it.
Seems pretty good quality
I plan to use it as a small light arm rather than a mic arm. It came with an adapter for the mic head and then you can adapt that back to 1/4-20 threads for camera equipment. I'm not sure how much it'll hold those. I have a small phone-sized LED pannel that will for sure work.
