Enjoy a desktop-like experience with the Thunderbolt 3 Single Display Docking Station from Plugable. Simply plug your Thunderbolt 3-equipped Macintosh or Windows computer to the Thunderbolt 3 port of the docking station with the included cable. Once connected, your host computer gains access to everything attached to the docking station. This can include a 4K display, a variety of USB 3.0 peripherals, a local network and internet access, and more. It can even recharge your computer while you use it.
Note:
Please note that your system may not be compatible with all features of this docking station. We recommend that you verify Thunderbolt 3 compatibility before purchase.
Thunderbolt 3
The docking station features two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the back. One is used to connect your compatible host computer to the docking station. Once connected, the host computer gains access to all other docking station ports and connected devices. If supported, this port will also charge the host computer with up to 60W of charging power.
The other Thunderbolt 3 port can be used for either the connection of additional Thunderbolt 3 devices, or to simply charge a Thunderbolt 3-equipped device with up to 15W of power.

DisplayPort
With a single display, you can use this port to give yourself a larger monitor with a higher resolution. The port supports displays with resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz (4096 x 2160). If your computer does not have a DisplayPort, don't worry, because an active DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter is included.
USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet
Four USB Type-A 3.0 ports on the back provide access to external hard drives, printers, and other peripherals. A Gigabit Ethernet port provides immediate access to the local network for whomever connects to the docking station.
Convenient Front Ports
A USB Type-A 3.0 port provides for quick attachment of a USB flash drive or portable hard drive. The front USB 3.0 port also supports the BC 1.2 protocol for recharging mobile devices.
The 3.5mm combo audio jack can be used as an audio output with headphones or speakers, or as an audio input with a microphone.
