The short Quick Set Shelf for R2RT from MultiCart is designed to install quickly between both cart handles, converting the cart into a mobile workstation. As a result, this mobile workstation is used in sound or video production, as well as in photo applications in studio or on location. The installed shelf, which has a load capacity of 100 lb, is supported by steel tubes.

I guess it's nicely enough made. It looks nice and holds some fair amount of weight. The textured finish is cool but it's too slippery. I put a heavy plastic file box on it and the first time the Multicart hit any resistance, the plastic box full of stuff immediately slid off this shelf and crashed to the floor. I put the box back on the shelf and despite my care, it ended up crashing to the floor again. I will keep the shelf but it will have to have some traction tape or a piece of thin carpeting added to it in order to make it fully and safely functional. I would have hated to have my camera gear or may electronics stuff suffer the same fate as my plastic file box.
Very surprised this works so well. It's easy to port around and simple enough to use. If you're looking for something portable that helps keep your gear off the ground this is a great addition to the R2RT system.
