I purchased this stand to replace a tripod stand that took up too much floor space. My existing stand was a constant annoyance with its legs always in the way. This stand's circular base occupies about 1/5 the space and is able to go much lower thereby allowing the use of my IsoVox 2 by a seated person who can not stand for long periods of time. It also extends high enough for someone over 6 feet tall.

Well built & solid. Extremely happy with these for my QSC K-10’s. They don’t wobble with speakers on. I got 1 bag for poles & 2 for the round bases as well.

Sure, but you would need an adapter. Mic stands are 5/8"-27 Male and your ring light might be a hot shoe mount.

Can I use this to mount the Nanlite PavoSlim 120B Bi-Color LED Panel B&H #NAPS120B as a light stand?
You can use a threaded adapter with the Gravity Stands SSP WB SET 1 Speaker Stand with Round Cast Iron Base to mount your light on top of it. I would recommend considering the weight of the light you are using, as some of the heavier models could make the stand more top-heavy and likely to tip over.
