The Atom System is comprised of an Atom Transmitter and an Atom Receiver. This system operates on the license-free 5 GHz frequency band while providing a working distance of 1968' in the field. Both the transmitter and receiver have HDMI and SDI connections so either consumer or professional gear can be used at either end of the transmission at up to 1080p60 resolution. For expansion, additional receivers can be added to receive a signal from a single transmitter. See below for more information on the transmitter and receiver in this system.
The Boxx TV Ltd. Atom Transmitter works alongside the Atom receiver to transmit SD or HD signals up to 1080p60 up to 1968'. SDI and HDMI inputs ensure compatibility with both consumer and professional video sources. Use the included D-Tap cable to power the transmitter from a battery or other power source. One transmitter can broadcast to many receivers, so you can send video signals to a director, assistant director, focus puller, and more, without latency penalties or cables. Aside from setting the channel, the transmitter requires little setup and is ready to work out of the box.
The Boxx TV Inc. Atom Receiver works with an Atom transmitter to receive a video signal from up to 1968' away. HDMI and dual SDI outputs provide options for using consumer or professional video monitors, respectively. A separately available Gold mount battery can power the receiver via the battery plate, and power can be passed through to a monitor with a Gold mount plate while the receiver is sandwiched between the battery and the monitor. The Atom system utilizes the license-free 5 GHz band with manually selectable channels to sync up transmitters and receivers. Only minimal configuration is required to set up a transmitter/receiver pair. A power cable, BNC SDI cable, antennas, and a power supply are included.
