Made for their 7x50 finderscope, but capable of carrying most others with tubes from 38mm to 62mm, the Baader MQR III Multi-Purpose Finder Bracket offers reliability and ease of use. It is engineered as a modular design to enable it to be adapted for custom applications. For example, the intermediate pedestal portion can be removed and the ring plate attached directly onto the dovetail to bring the finderscope closer to the optical tube assembly (OTA), or the rings removed and a dot-sight style finder installed.
Each ring that holds the finder is outfitted with three adjustment screws for aligning the finder with the OTA. The screws are capped with non-marking plastic tips to protect the finder tube. In addition, quick release thumbscrews enable the bracket to be installed and removed from the mounting base easily and without tools. The base is designed with a bottom curve to fit flush on OTAs with a tube radius from 130 to 400mm.
