The Macro Ring Light works just like it should. I'd buy it again. It's a real bargain.

Looks good for the price. Plastic shoe is flimsy. Once I shoot more, I can give a detailed review.

A lot better than I was expecting

At this price my expectations were very low. The product is definitely not built like my SB700 Speedlights but it is a fraction of the cost. If you are just a hobbyist it's perfect. Good for continuous lighting if you are stacking shots and for supplemental lighting with other off-camera continuous lights.

Decent enough for macro photography

I bought the Neewer Light Ring for my FujiFilm X-T30 with Meike 85mm macro lens. This light ring looks to be the same as the Bolt VM-110, but was slightly cheaper (I see that a lot with what looks to be the same product, only branded with a different name). My intention is to use the light ring in the "always on" mode for macro photography, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it worked as a flash with my camera's hot shoe; I thought I saw a product review for this (or a different branded light ring) that that was not the case. The light ring comes with several filter ring adapters so that it can be attached to a wide range of lens; I will be using the 55 mm filter adapter with my macro lens and now that I know the light ring works with my hot shoe, I will have to try it with my other lens (67 mm and 77 mm filter size (though as other reviews have pointed out, the 77 mm filter ring adapter will block the outer edge of the lens)). There are three diffusers that come with the lens (four if you count the clear) that change the color and intensity of the light. All filter adapters are labeled as to size and diffusers are marked for on/off alignment, but all labeling and marking are very subtle. The light ring attaches to the filter adapter securely enough, but does spin somewhat freely, so the weight of the attaching cord to the battery controller tends to pull the light ring from center to one side, which would affect its left and right light adjustment, which brings me to my only complaint: the left and right adjustment only works in flash mode and does not work in the "always on" mode (if it does work in the "always on" mode, I have not found how to make it happen). Kind of disappointed with that, as I don't plan to use the light ring in flash mode for macro photography. There is a decent amount of cord between the controller and the light ring, so one could have the light ring off camera and use the light ring as a side (or top/bottom) flash. Other than that the light ring is decently enough constructed and does a good job of lighting up objects for macro photography.

Very Good For What The Cost

It worked well on my Sony a7RIII by contacting to the camera right away when loaded with batteries. However, remember that the lens mount is light plastic and not marked very well to show with lens mount fits what which filter size. Once I did get it connected to the Sony 90mm Macro lens the Ring Light did worked well. In my opinion, for the cost it is a very good First Time Ring Light to see how to use Ring Lights and experience it that is what you want.
