Hoya 67mm NXT Plus UV Filter
Key Features
  • Clear Protective Filter
  • Absorbs Ultraviolet Light
  • Reduces Bluish Cast of Daylight
  • 1x Filter Factor, No Exposure Change
The Hoya 67mm NXT Plus UV Filter is a general use, clear filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. Aside from the reduction of unwanted blue casts, no additional coloration or contrast is created, and adjustments to exposure are not required while using this filter. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes five layers of anti-reflection coating. These coatings also offer greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. An additional hydrophobic coating results in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

Is this a slim filter and would it be okay (no vignetting) for a wide angle lens like the Viltrox 13mm f1. 4 for Nikon Z?
Asked by: Richard
The Hoya 67mm NXT Plus UV Filter uses a slim profile that's good for super wide-angle lenses. Vignetting should not occur with the Viltrox AF 13mm f/1.4 XF Lens for Nikon Z.

Does this filter fit a Nikon 85 1.4 lens?
Asked by: Sharita
The Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.4G lens takes 77mm filters, and this Hoya 67mm NXT Plus UV filter will not fit. Based on the history of Nikon's 85mm lenses, the only one with a 67mm-filter thread is the Nikon 85mm f/1.8G, not the f/1.4G.

Does the hydrophobic coating keep rain drops from forming on the glass when raining?
Asked by: Patrick
Yes, the hydrophobic coating in the Hoya 55mm NXT Plus UV Filter will allow water to bead. That makes it more likely it will fall off on its own. Also, that makes it easier to clean.
