The Alpine Astronomical Baader C-Mount to T2 Adapter allows you to use your CCD imaging camera on a wide variety of T-2 compatible accessories and gear. Standard 1" male C-mount threads accept your imaging camera, with female T-2 threads on the other side. The T-2 side is internally threaded for standard 1.25" eyepiece filters, and unmounted filters can be used by adding an optional retention ring to hold them in place. Unmounted filters such as light pollution, IR-cut, and haze filters will dramatically improve image quality and can be installed into the adapter, with mounted specialty filters such as neutral density, colored planetary, or nebulae filters simply screwed into the front.
