Version 2 of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ includes all the same great features as the original Phantom 4 Pro+ and boasts several enhancements including improved resolution for on-controller live-view streaming, enhanced connectivity, reduced propeller noise, and more. Like the original, the Phantom 4 Pro+ Version 2 features a 3-axis-stabilized gimbal camera with a 20MP 1" CMOS sensor capable of shooting up to 4K60 fps video and photo bursts at up to 14 fps. It also utilizes the FlightAutonomy system which includes dual rear-vision sensors and infrared sensing for a total of five directions of obstacle sensing and four directions of obstacle avoidance. Instead of Lightbridge, the Phantom 4 Pro+ Version 2 now uses Ocusync, which enables improved live video stream performance. Other notable enhancements include lighter props and reduced overall takeoff weight, wireless integration with DJI Goggles, and bolstered transmission power. Like the original Phantom 4 Pro+, Version 2 comes with a controller that features an integrated 1080p display.

Well Done
The Phantom arrived on time, in new condition, as expected. The packaging was secure and undamaged. I've had no issues with the drone. Everything is working.
When it works it's good.
Originally purchased this with the understanding that dji made quality products. Not so much. For a drone costing $2,400 I would expect a lot more than what I got. For starters, the gimbal broke only after about 6-7 flights. No wrecks. Had to send in for repair since it was past the warranty. $466 later and I get it back working. I'm starting to notice the casing around the batteries are cracking. I've had other drones much cheaper than this with little to no problems. I also have two mavic minis (gen 1 & gen 2) and both are starting to develop motor problems. Disappointing to see how low quality the drones are.
Can't use with DroneDepoly or 3rd Party software
We bought this to augment an older drone that is used to create orthomosaics and fly pre-planned missons. We use DrondDepoly and Drone2Map. Using the Pro+ version with the DJI screen precludes you from using 3rd party software for flights. Drone itself is good, DJI locking up 3rd party access, not so great.
Update to previous anger fueled 1 star review.
Many people find this aircraft to be both reliable and durable, in my case that was not so and it almost cost me a job. That said, B&H Photo really helped me get it sorted. It took explaining the situation to multiple support techs but in the end they honored their policy and exchanged the defective drone for another, and they got it shipped out to me so fast it arrived before a rental Phantom that was shipped overnight. I'm officially impressed.
Don't waste your time on this.
1 week out of the box and it started throwing the dreaded gimbal overload error. B&H Photo has always been a great resource and this is nothing on them - but this drone was purchased for a job that required the P4 for the mech shutter. So far it's been nothing but a money pit. I hope the replacement rolled off a better line than this lemon.
as promised
i needed a drone i could grow into and this fit the bill. fast delivery and really great packaging to keep it safe on its trip. easy to operate and a quick learn of the advanced controls.
Everything As Expected
I waited a long time to step up from the original Phantom 4...and the Phantom 4 Pro V2 is exactly the upgrade I would expect from DJI - the camera and the drone all function exactly as promised! If you've been using a Phantom 4, this is what you've already got but improved...if you been using another model DJI or another brand, this is the drone that lets you produce professional quality photo and videos without going into the Inspire price zone. As a professional photographer and videographer, I am very particular about gear, quality and dependability...DJI meets all the standards and has continued to improve while maintaining the standards they began with as a drone company. If you are thinking you want this drone, get it! My original Phantom 4, purchased in 2017 still works perfectly and I anticipate this version will last too - and the Phantom batteries you already have work too! Oh, last thing...the model is considerably quieter and has impressive speed : )
