Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ 127mm f/8 Reflector Telescope

Ideal for near and deep-sky observation, Celestron's PowerSeeker 127EQ 127mm f/8 Reflector Telescope features a respectable focal length and a large, parabolic mirror that produce detailed images of the Moon, clear views of the planets, and the ability to resolve bright distant objects such as nebulae and galaxies. The scope is outfitted with a 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser and two eyepieces to get new users started, and a 3x Barlow lens that effectively triples the magnification of any eyepiece used with it to expand the usability.

The included manual equatorial mount features slow-motion control cables with large knobs to make it easy to track objects even when wearing gloves, while also minimizing vibrations caused by handling the mount with your hands; and clearly visible indicators on the Right Ascension and Declination axes. An adjustable-height aluminum tripod rounds out the rig with a tray for accessories such as eyepieces, filters, and lights.

question

Is this easy to setup? I have never worked with a telescope before and am not much of a camera person.
Asked by: Jehan Jaleel
My husband had a tough time putting it together, albeit he's never put a telescope together before. It took him about 40 min. Maybe more. And then the eyepiece came undone and we couldn't figure out how to put it back together since there wasn't any instructions for that. Once we got everything together it works great. Breath taking.
