Click the tailcap push-button switch on the Streamlight Night Com LED Flashlight for a bright white beam—but if you need to protect night-acclimated vision, select the low red light setting instead. It emits less than 0.05 a lumen, meeting the military standard for night-vision protection. There's also a bright red setting, powered by two Nichia LEDs, for times when night vision protection isn't as critical, but you still wish to avoid the disruption of white light.
The two included CR123A batteries will run the 105-lumen C4 white LED for 3.5 hours, and the 2.5-lumen bright red LEDs for 28n hours. The Night Com features a knurled machined aluminum alloy housing rated IPX4 for water resistance and impact resistant to 3.3'.
