When you need a ring, you need a ring. And I needed this COKIN 55mm adapter ring when I got me a new lens. Sometimes I wonder when I get done with all this, if I could start a COKIN jewerly business, making things from their wonderful resin filters, and all the rings I have! People can hear me rattle from miles away! Truely, though. I have been using COKIN for years and won't stop! Until I have everything I need. (I already have what I wanted! )

It actually does not mean anything. The use of the term FD on the title for this adapter ring is an error on our part, and I am sorry about any confusion it may have caused. This adapter would fit on any 40.5mm sized lenses.

This is the adapter ring that holds the A series filter holder. I have used an assortment of A series filter for several years on my micro 4/3 lenses with good results.
