This Short Center Column from Manfrotto is an accessory for the original Befree and Befree Advanced lines of travel tripods. It goes in place of the column included with your tripod, reducing your minimum working height and enabling dramatic low angle shots. You can even angle your legs completely perpendicular to the column for ground level shooting. A 3/8"-16 mounting screw is provided for attaching compatible tripod heads at the top.

This little guy made my Advanced BeFree even more versatile. This piece allows me to spread the tripod's legs and get (MUCH) lower to the ground while shooting wildlife from ground cover. I switch this out with the original center column as needed and just keep this in my bag. Worth the price.

No, Manfrotto Short Center Column for Befree and Befree Advanced Tripods is not compatible with Manfrotto 3021BPRO Tripod Legs. This center column was designed for Manfrotto BeFree tripods which are more compact than your current unit.

The profile looks to be the same as that of the 055 series tripods. Is this compatible with them?

The Manfrotto Short Center Column for Befree and Befree Advanced Tripods, is not technically compatible with the Manfrotto 055 series tripods. Because there are very few choices for short center columns, people do try to use this center column for various tripods, and sometimes they fit loosely, and can be tightened in place.

Unfortunately, Manfrotto only makes these with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw in order for them to be used with the Manfrotto ballheads/Befree Live heads.

Absolutely not. Other than top plates, the center column of Befree GT XPRO is similar to MT190 series . Actually, I can insert the center column of my 190GO-M into the main casting of Befree GT XPRO without difficulty and lock them firmly (still retain the original function ). Relatively, the center column of normal Befree Advanced is too thin to GT XPRO, I even couldn't lock them together. That means BFRSCC is compatible with most Befree tripod, but not included Befree GT XPRO series.
