This 67mm P Series Filter Holder Adapter ring from Cokin screws onto the lens' front threads of the same diameter and enables the P Series Adapter Ring to attach to the P series Filter Holder. Once the adapter and holder are attached to the lens filters can be slid into the holder and be used accordingly.
The adapter ring is made from aluminum, which has been anodized for durability.

When considering whether to buy filters of different sizes for different lenses, I chose to go the Cokin way and buy ONE set of filters (square) and multiple adapters. Works flawlessly. It was a good choice for me.

This ring worked great. I taped Baader safety film to it for eclipse photos.
I made the mistake of purchasing a 3rd party adapter and while it fit - the filter holders were very loose. The Cokin adapters are made for the Cokin holders so don't skimp for a few dollars and purchase 3rd party adapters. I've learned my lesson.
Adapter ring does not thread on easily. All the other rings and filters I have lineup and thread on to the lenses easily. This one you have to attempt the alignment numerous times be for finding the proper alignment.

I have been using Cokin since I was in college at art school studying photography. I still use Cokin filters now. The P series allows me to use the filters pretty much on any lens I have! Simple, quick and perfect for what I do.
Ive never used this type of filter system before and so far I like them. I havent had much of an opportunity to use it, however it seems to work as it should. It was easy to mount together and use with the proper filters.
