Providing 3 years of coverage, this manufacturer service plan includes warranty extension that protects against hardware failure as well as damage caused by fire and water. One free data recovery event is included in the plan. The fee for a second or third event is $500 or $1000, respectively, while all additional events require a $2000 service fee. Recovered data is loaded onto a replacement product and shipped back to the customer. ioSafe reserves the right to use a factory refurbished product as a replacement. Data recovery costs are limited to $25,000.
