Outfitted with two 35mm scope rings, Leupold's Mark 6 IMS Mount is part of their Integral Mounting System (IMS) that offers innovative mounting solutions to many common problems that shooters encounter when mounting scopes. The Mark 6 address two common issues when mounting scopes onto AR-style rifles: scope height and eye relief.
This mount uses a sliding cantilever design that, when mounted on the rifle's Picatinny/Weaver rail, simply moves forward to provide additional eye relief, while raising the scope up to 20 MOA, without the need for additional risers—making it ideal for long-range shooting. The mount is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy that is treated with a scratch-resistant and low-reflectivity matte-black anodized finish. Designed for use with their Mark 6 series of riflescopes, it can be used with just about any scope that has a 34mm maintube.
