In order for this adapter to work on the Hasselblad X-Mount Camera, you need to turn on the electronic shutter in the camera via the settings. It's hilarious how people in these reviews are posting attached lens and adapter and no image. What??? Awesome adapter and matches the Leica M mount lenses perfectly.

The Novoflex Leica M Lens to Hasselblad X-Mount Camera Adapter will adapt any Leica M mount lens to a Hasselblad X1D camera. However, due to sensor size differences between a full frame and a medium format camera, lenses under 50mm are likely to vignette the image.

This is a fully manual adapter. It does not relay electronic communication between the camera and lens. There is no way for the camera to know what lens is being used. To take pictures you would need to turn "Electronic Shutter" On. This setting can be found in the Menu under "Shutter Function"
