The 4.5" Ball Clamp Arm with Cold Shoe Mount from Axler features two articulating joints, each with a 1/4"-20 threaded stud for mounting to a wide variety of accessories weighing up to 6.6 lb. The center knuckle tightens or loosens the full clamp arm with a single movement. Each threaded mounting end features a rubber-topped platform with a 1/4"-20 threaded stud. A thumbwheel rotates the studs, enabling you to tighten or loosen accessories. The included cold shoe mount replaces one of the 1/4"-20 ball and accepts accessories with a cold shoe mounting foot.
Made from anodized aluminum, the mounting ends feature a ball joint system with an O-ring integrated into the ball. This allows you to tighten the clamp on the ball joints and lock it in place without having to overtighten the clamp. The ends swing through more than 180° of arc and can be locked and held in place by merely tightening the center knuckle.
