Available for download, Acon Digital DeVerberate 2 addresses an essential acoustic quality of audio recordings, namely the balance between direct sound and reverberation. This iteration of the software includes an early reflection filter, which uses statistical methods to pinpoint and then separate the recording's initial room reflections from the dry signal. This feature, combined with earlier technology, will secure you an even more intelligible sound when compared to version 1.
Everything in the original DeVerberate is still on hand, including the real-time algorithm that splits the incoming audio into an estimation of the direct sound and the reverb component. Working on mono and stereo signals alike, this software can use these filters to rebalance the direct sound with the reverberated sound, allowing you to achieve the balance of your desire.
The process can be monitored visually using the spectral representations of the input and output signals, and estimated reverberations. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms and can operate in AU, VST, and AAX formats.
