does this adapter works with a6500? i have 2 lenses which works excellent on a350 but theyt are not compatible with a6500, i wanna ask if this adaptor works in this situation? btw adaptor name is {FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera}. both lenses are i) sony 18-70mm ii) sony 70-300mm.

The Sony Alpha a350 DSLR camera uses the older, larger Sony A-mount/Minolta MAXXUM lens mount. The Sony Alpha a6500 Mirrorless Digital Camera uses the smaller E-mount lens mount. You may purchase the FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera, B&H # FOSNYASNYE, to connect your Sony A-mount lens to the Sony a6500 Mirrorless Digital Camera. However, do note that this is a fully manual adapter, so you will not have autofocus capability with the lens, and does not support lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body. If you need autofocus, the Sony A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter (Black), B&H # SOLAEA3, should work for your usage needs.

The FotodioX Pro Mount Adapter for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera has a better aperture control ring compared to the standard FotodioX Mount Adapter with Aperture Control Dial for Sony A-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera. Both are manual adapters.

Will the iris adjustment pin have clearance to mount a Rokinon 10mm cine lens? I'm afraid it may hit part of the lens due to low clearance. Of course auto functions will not work with this lens.
Asked by: Norman
Yes it is compatible with your lens and the pin will not interfere with the mounting.
